Buena Vista Real Estate Market Update | Fall 2026
Fall is here, and the Buena Vista real estate market is giving buyers some real breathing room. More than half of the homes for sale have had a price reduction, and sellers are stepping up with concessions that can make a big difference in your monthly payment.

🎉 Thank You, BV!: The BV Strong Community Dinner
Last week, more than 2,000 people gathered on Main Street for the BV Strong Community Dinner, one of my favorite days of the year!
This event is truly a labor of love. It takes so many hands and a whole lot of community spirit to make a night like this possible. From volunteers to donations to BVHS students showing up to sling tables, this is a community event through and through.
Every year I take a few minutes to walk Main Street as dinner begins, and this year so many people stopped to share how grateful they were for the evening. It was such a sweet reminder of just how unique and special our little town really is.
Giving back to the community I love is a big part of why I do what I do. With every closing, I donate to a local organization doing good work to build a stronger BV, and I’m so grateful to support the people and organizations making a difference here.
To everyone who volunteered, donated, helped organize, or simply showed up to share a meal: thank you. You are what makes BV, BV!
📊 Buena Vista Real Estate Market Snapshot: Over Half of Homes Have Reduced Their Price
There are nearly 150 homes for sale in Buena Vista, and 20 of them are under contract. The real kicker: more than half of the homes on the market have had a price reduction! If buying a home in BV has been on your mind, now might be a great time to take another look.
Interest rates can feel like a big hurdle, but here’s some good news: I’m working with buyers who are getting significant concessions from sellers. In some cases, that means sellers help cover closing costs (which can easily be $7,000) or buy down the buyer’s interest rate, which can make a real difference in monthly payments.
Every situation is different, and not every loan or property will qualify for the same options. Your lender can help you figure out what might work for you and what the numbers would actually look like. All that to say, you might be surprised by what’s possible!
