There's nothing quite like race morning at the Buena Vista Freedom 5K. The energy at the start line, neighbors cheering each other on, kids running their first ever 5K next to folks who've done it a dozen times - it's exactly why I love this town.

This was my second year sponsoring the Buena Vista Freedom 5K, and it still didn't feel like "business." It felt like showing up for my community, the same way I try to show up for my clients every day.

This year I laced up and did the 3K option myself, alongside my extended family and little ones. Whether folks were running for gold or just out for a stroll with their family, it was so fun to see so many people out and about up and down Main St., celebrating the 4th together.

I was also excited to supply one of the prizes this year: a Summer Essentials Tote packed with everything you need for a perfect BV summer day! A bluetooth speaker, a Rumpl blanket for laying in the grass, a good water bottle, a Sand Cloud towel and a little something for the river or the trail!

If you crossed that finish line this year, thank you for letting me be part of it. Buena Vista, you never disappoint. Already looking forward to next year!
